ICYMI: Affordable Virginia Releases New Ad Calling Out Rep. Kiggans for Government Shutdown
Virginia Beach, VA – Affordable Virginia released a new ad responding to Rep. Jen Kiggans and Republicans in Congress for shutting down the federal government as part of a $250,000 buy. The ad “Re-Open” highlights how 350,000 Virginians are set to lose their healthcare coverage and demands that Rep. Jen Kiggans fight to lower health care costs and reopen the government.
“With over 350,000 Virginians at risk of losing their health care, we are continuing the fight to call out Rep. Jen Kiggans to side with Virginians and not billionaires,” said Emily Yeatts, Affordable Virginia Campaigns Director. “Rep. Jen Kiggans isn’t just toying with the livelihoods of working families – she is holding our health care hostage. It’s time for Rep. Jen Kiggans to lower Virginians’ health care costs and reopen the government. We don’t have any more time to waste.”
